With the end of the school year comes a variety of new movies, one of these is the widely anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.

The first Guardians of the Galaxy was very successful and a very tough movie to beat. I believe that the second film was close or equal to the first, but not better. They both had a great soundtrack with original songs by Tyler Bates and Metro Voices, an English choir group. The soundtrack matched the different scene’s emotion perfectly, which intensified them.

The second movie had the same lovable characters like baby Groot and Rocket Raccoon. Groot is a small plant shaped guy that is put in the movie to be cute. Rocket Raccoon is crazy and put in for comic relief.

Comedy is a trademark of The Guardians of the Galaxy, but there was so much comic relief that it undermined the action scenes.

At the start of the movie, the first ten minutes is just baby Groot dancing and singing while the others fight in the background. The main fight is between Star-Lord and his father who is a god-like being. They turned into these giant rock gods to fight and in the middle of it, Star-Lord turns into Pac-man from the video game.

Overall The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was a great movie with a soundtrack that intensified scenes and characters that were lovable and fun to watch. I recommend seeing it.
